The special court-11 of theBorder Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Sunday sentenced 329 convicted mutineers of BGBheadquarters to different terms of imprisonment for their involvement in themutiny of 2009.Besides, seven accused were acquitted as charges against them were not proved.The special court ledby Brig Gen Md. Nasir pronounced the verdict at the BGB Durbar Hall of Pilkhanaheadquarters in the morning on Sunday.On October 26, 2011, 336 jawans wereindicted in the case. A total of 74 people, including 57 army officers, werekilled in the bloody mutiny at the former BDR Headquarters in the city duringthe February 25-26, 2009.
