Dhaka Abahani Limited-Dhaka Bank Best XI exhibition football match to be held on July 7

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and Dhaka Bank Limited will jointly arrange an exhibition football match between Dhaka Abahani Limited, the reigning champions of the Grameenphone Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football and Dhaka Bank Best XI at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) on July 7. The match starts at 5.30 PM.

Dhaka Bank will arrange the football match to celebrate its 17th founding anniversary while Dhaka Abahani Limited will play in the exhibition match to celebrate their victory of this year's championship title.

To mark the exhibition football match, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation House on Wednesday.

President of Bangladesh Football Federation Kazi Salahuddin, Senior Vice-President of BFF Abdus Salam Murshedi, Vice-President of the Federation Badal Roy, Member of  BFF Amirul Islam Babu, Chairman of Dhaka Bank Limited Reshadur Rahman, Managing Director of Dhaka Bank Limited Fazle Rashid were present at the conference, among others.

Badal Roy said, "All the gates of BNS will be opened on July 7 for the spectators and no ticket is required to watch the exhibition match."

Dhaka Bank Limited has given Tk twenty five lakh to BFF for the development of Bangladesh's football.

An agreement was signed between BFF and Dhaka Bank Limited for this purpose.

President of BFF Kazi Salahuddin and Reshadur Rahman signed in the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

It is mentionable that the Dhaka Bank Best XI is formed from the selected players of the participating teams of the recently concluded Grameenphone Bangladesh Premier League Football.
