Age group swimming concludes with BKSP domination

Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan (BKSP) maintained their supremacy when they emerged champion in the BRB Cables National Age Group Swimming Competition that concluded at the Syed Nazrul Islam National Swimming Complex in Mirpur on Saturday.

After the conclusion of the final day (Saturday) of the three-day meet, BKSP dominated the medal tally with 72 gold, 57 silver and 26 bronze medals while Bangladesh Ansar finished runners-up in the meet followed by BKSP securing 21 gold, 13 silver and 24 bronze medals.

Alamgir Swimming Club bagged five gold, four silver and eight bronze medals while Bogra Swimming Club and Manjur Smrity Swimming Club won two gold, three silver and three bronze medals each.

Chapainawabganj District Sports Association secured one gold, one silver and one bronze after the conclusion of the final day.

Besides, fourteen more national records were set on the concluding day (Saturday).

Bangladesh Swimming Federation president and Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Zahir Uddin Ahmed was the chief guest in the final and distributed the prizes.
