However the first saw Abahani evenly matched Usha and forced them to 1-1 draw at the breather .
Usha shot into the lead in the 17th when Moinul Islam Kaushik scored a brilliant field goal.(1-0).
Abahani pressed hard and Shabbir Ahmed restore the parity in the 27th minute from a field goal.
Usha went all out in the second half and Abahani defense found it too hard to cope with it as Usha players looked in tremendous form . They pumped in three goals in the second half as Abahanii team tamely gulped those goals without much fight.
Mohammed scored a brace for Usha as he converted two penalty corners. His first goal came in the 47th minute and in the 63rd minute he again hogged the headlines as he scored from another penalty corner.
Mohammad Imran completed the tally for Usha with a field goal in the 65th minutes.
Eleven metropolis clubs are taking part in the league. The first phase of the league will be held in single league basis and the highest points receiver of five clubs will qualify for the super five stage.
The champion team will have Taka 50,000 while the runners-up will get Taka 30,000.
The best player and highest scorer of the league will also be awarded with prizes while the fair play team will receive trophy.
