No place, other than parliament for talks: Nasim

. BSS, Dhaka
Awami League central leader and former Home Minister Mohammad Nasim yesterday said there is no scope for holding talks at any place other than the Jatiya Sangsad (Parliament) in the present day's context.

"Awami League neither conceded nor surrendered to any threat or intimidation. The opposition will have to come to the parliament, if they want to take part in talks. We will not handover power to any non-elected person," he said while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion meeting in the city.

Bangladesh Awami Muktijoddha Projanma League organised the discussion meeting "Bangabandhu: Bangladesh and its background" at the Public Library auditorium marking 63rd founding anniversary of Awami League.
