Lafarge Surma gets new CEO

Tarek Elba has been appointed as the CEO of Lafarge Surma Cement Ltd. Prior to that, Tarek was the commercial director of Lafarge Cement Egypt with an annual capacity of 10 million tons, says a press release.
Tarek has more than 20 years of experience in different commercial activities like sales, marketing, international trade, customer service, and business development in both Cement and Steel industries, in addition to one-year experience in maintenance in Alexandria National Iron and Steel Co.
Tarek graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Production Mechanics Department in 1989 and completed his MBA in 2007.
