‘Borno Angkan Protijogita’ held in city

Dania Pathagar, a local library at Dania area in the city, has organised a letter drawing contest titled “Esho Ronge Ronge Borno Anki”. The prize giving ceremony of the contest was held on Thursday evening at Bornomala Adarsh Uccha Bidyalaya.
Chief Advisor of the library and local MP Habibur Rahman Molla distributed prizes among the winners while Secretary General of Sammilito Sangskritik Jote Hasan Arif, Joint Secretary of Cultural Affairs Ministry Md Mosharaf Hossain, Deputy Secretary AHM Lokman, Chairman of Dania Union Parishad Md Jumman Miah, President of Governing Body of Bornomala Adarsh Uccha Bidyalaya Abdus Salam Babu and President of Dania Pathagar Md Shahnewaz were present among others.
About 2500 primary level students from different schools and children organisations took part in the contest among whom 60 were awarded. The event was organised with a view to celebrate the International Mother Language Day.
