Poem

Will

.
Julian Parrish

While the sun still shines from the south
Let me pass away this world by silent mouth.
Death rattle and death's agony are unbearable,
Angels and evils are already put death label.

Do not call for doctor to check in dying
Do not call for near relative for washing.
Just lay in soil lacking obsequies and mourn
Without funeral procession bury in the dawn.

Never appeared me when I was on the bed
Nobody kept folded watery strip on forehead.
None feels my fever-heat by touching ill body,
Now useless to show respect touch dead body.

Let her desires mentally that my soul to go hell
Inform to bell man not to strike the death bell.
Not crucial to shed crocodile tears and lament,
For wrap no needs to buy shroud and garments.

Except a hire bier it is worthless to buy coffin
With black cloth, ribbon, push button and pin.
Vain to put nosegay and scent on silent heart
For inability; let her gives me shame and hurt.

Ignite candles; use incense and odor are crazy
Too crazy implore for dead and sings an elegy.
Forbid neighbors to come for watch corpse
Forbid far relatives to come for this purpose.

Why wear a rosary to dead neck as necklace?
Why criticize and read gospel at sad place?
Do not take camera's snap for corpse's picture
Do not keep in frame to remember in future

No need to put cross and press on forehead
No need decoration the grave by flowers bed.
It is useless to put epitaph on monument floor
Leave graveyard with out last prayer and adore.

Prayer and tea-party are not vital on third day
Have to pay money for Mass forget this way.
In All Souls Day; no need to beg God grace,
Through pray with candles; wore black dress.

To evoke departed soul in death anniversary,
Gathering and feeding are fully unnecessary.
Grieve forever as of lacking son or daughter
In moribund declaration do not know better.
