Photography exhibition at DIU

DIU Photographic Society launched

Photographic Society of Daffodil International University (DIU) officially launched its activities through organising a three-day long photography exhibition at its student’s lounge of the university campus in the city from December 10 to 12.
Prof M Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of DIU, inaugurated the exhibition as the chief guest, while Syed Mizanur Rahman, coordinator of career development centre, SM Abdur Razzak, moderator of DIU Photographic Society, Md Anowar Habib Kazal, Assistant Director (Public Relations), Ziaul Haque Sumon, Sr Administration Officer, Adib Rahman, President of DIU Photographic Society, also spoke on the occasion.
A total of 53 photographs of 32 photographers taken by the students of different departments were on display in the exhibition. Best three photographs were awarded.
In his speech at the inaugural ceremony DIU VC assured to provide necessary logistic support to speed up the activities of the society and other relevant activities.
He stressed on the necessity of such type of society in the university and urged the students to come forward with professional attitude. The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Sheikh Md Abdur Razzak, moderator of DIU Photographic Society.
