Photo exhibition on birds at RU

A two-day photo exhibition of birds titled “Birds of Campus” was held at Rajshahi University (RU) campus recently.
A total of 50th photographs of different species birds those are the inhabitant at the campus were displayed in the exhibition at third science building gallery on the campus.
RU zoology department and University Grants Commission (UGC) jointly organised the event.
RU Life and Earth Faculty dean Prof Jahidul Hasan inaugurated the exhibition while zoology department teachers were present on the occasion.
Students, teachers of different department of the university visited the exhibition, witness said.
Prof Jahidul Hasan in his speech said that photo always representing of anything so that it is the one kind of soul of the every man and everybody should practice it for their own satisfaction.
Director of the project of “Birds preservation in RU campus” Dr AM Saleh Reza told that there 147 species of birds in the campus and those are available here in all seasons.
